black & white Chicken Drawings

… the evolution of the rubber chicken came from my long-term admiration of Chaim Soutine's chicken paintings, and finding an old rubber chicken from my childhood. Mixing well with my sense of humor and ultimately, resulting in the birth of my chicken paintings and drawings. In my work, the hanging rubber chicken describes both the comedy and endlessness of a chronic illness. I have also, used the rubber chicken to depict Christ and Christ’s sense of humor.
